You’ve likely reached this page through the “Trunk or Treat” night support the Transition Academy at Birdville. I want to take this opportunity to describe what you’re subscribing to, and to thank you for doing so.

HPHobbies.com, and Store.HPHobbies.com are my websites devoted to my hobby/business of 3D Printing and other “maker” related activities. As I began to transition my 3D hobby into a “side-gig” business, I realized I need to start email marketing. I didn’t want to send out “SPAM” emails, but I also wanted something that would kick-start the program.

I decided to use the TAB Trunk or Treat night as that “kickstarter”. My wife is a an employee at BISD, and when she received an email asking for participation in the event, we talked it over and decided that instead of giving out candy, we would give a small 3D printed item – in the case a mini “Pocket Pet” frog. In addition, we decided to offer a drawing for a bundle for the full size version of the 3D printed frog that included a set of “Mom and Dad” fidget spinner frogs, a set of “Daughter and Son” flexi froggies, and a lily-pad with a tulip house display for them all. This bundle would normally sell for just under $50; but we held the drawing in return for 1 purchased ticket, and those entering to submit their name and email address for this giveaway. Going forward, we will occasionally send newsletter and offer emails, but no more than two a month, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
